A decent Reddit link or self post means knowing your crowd. You need to know when to post (somewhere around 08:00 and 16:00 UTC, or midnight to 8 a.m. Pacific Time, is for the most part best — there's a sharp hush in the previous hours) and what different Redditors need to see. Posting about anti-faith or gaming? Posting pics of little cats or amusing signs? Go substantial on content modifiers and the perameters that will maximize attention for your post.
One of the better ways you could gain attention would be buying Reddit upvotes at stores that offer it, like BoostUpvotes, BuyRedditUpvotes, etc.
